The altering the structure of the tree is known as “Tree Training”. The tree should be trimmed to keep them from growing on one side, slanting or prevent diseases.

The proper shape of the tree is also maintained by trimming the tree. The trees which grow on one side can get heavy on one side and the light on other. To keep the balance one should trim the branches of the trees. Trimming is good but you can use the training for the tree to keep its balance

Many people associate pruning with changing the structure of your tree to fit a different shape or style. However, this is not the case. Altering the structure of the tree is known as “Tree Training”. This is a much better way to develop an alternate form for your tree. Pruning should be used to prevent diseases, prevent lopsidedness, and encourage healthier fruit growth.

Training was not known people of the olden days of course they used to tie down the branches with the help of a twig or propping the tree from the ground for it to stand straight was always very popular.

The training of the tree mostly is done in summers. In this case the branches which are growing haphazardly are trained to grow in a right direction. Usually, this is like a dentist puts braces on the teeth. The tree branches are guided to grow in a particular direction and once they are directed they start growing the same way.

It is not easy to decide how to train the tree. The different forms and shapes are available and you can shape the tree the way you want it to be. The different types of tree need different types of training and shape.
This is more prevalent in the trees grown in a professional way which will give them better fruits and the shape of the tree looks good. You can do the same in your backyard just so that the tree looks good and each and every branch gets the proper sunlight and water equally. This will help in avoiding the trimming of the tree later.

There are different way of training a branch and you can either pull two branches together and tie it will a twig or push them apart by placing a brace or a stick between them.

Whatever you do the tree is going to benefit from the training and you can enjoy the fruits of the tree which will be much healthier than the tree which is not trained.
