
Foliar nematode is an emerging nematode problem of tuberose in West Bengal and Orissa of India. Among the cultivars, Calcutta single and Calcutta double are most popular both the cultivars are heavily attacked by the nematode species. The nematode causes qualitative and quantitative losses and the occurrence of nematode (cut flower) poses at a threat to export for pest risk in other countries. The symptoms induced by the nematode under field conditions and its management options are didcussed.
